Explanations on new graphic-musical Project
On a trip to South America in the last few weeks, I started a new drawing-musical project in my free daytime and during long nights, which deals with the five lines of our notation system. As wonderfully standardized and pre-printed as they are, you can write some things perfectly on them. But not others. And sometimes (e.g. with voices or instruments capable of glissando) five lines are music in themselves.
Or silent.
Better without need.
Better without a note.
