Explanations on Sound Composition
BLACK // WHITE continues my working methods. From January 1st, 2023 to December 31st, 2023 I wrote and drew on X sheets of paper that can be read as scores for XI pieces. Almost all of these structures were created in a performance-like musical act (often with a lot of overpainting): with the left or right hand, with both hands, as a blind drawing, high or low energy, rhythmic, sounding, spontaneously calculating, with the pen under the tip pulling the paper away.
The musicality inscribed in the sheets in this way needs to be released in performance. For this purpose, legends I to XI make suggestions for realizations from solo to ensemble.
